What is a DTF transfer?

A DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer is a design printed onto a special PET film with a powdered adhesive backing, then applied to fabric with a heat press. DTF transfers work on cotton, polyester, blends, and both light and dark garments, producing vibrant, durable, stretch-resistant prints without weeding or pretreatment.

How do I apply a DTF transfer?

Pre-press your garment for a few seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. Place the transfer print-side down and press at 320°F (160°C) with medium pressure for 15 seconds. Let it cool for about 15 seconds, then peel the film. Cover with parchment and press again for 15 seconds to cure.

Do you have minimum order quantities?

No. Transfer Kingdom has no minimums on DTF transfers, UV stickers, and most products — order as little as one transfer. This makes it practical for small businesses, Etsy sellers, and one-off custom projects.

How fast do you ship?

DTF transfers print and ship in 1 business day with a 5:00 AM CT cutoff. Custom apparel takes 2–5 business days, UV stickers 1–2 business days. All orders ship from Houston, TX.

DTF vs screen printing — which should I choose?

DTF wins for full-color designs, low quantities, no minimums, and mixed-fabric jobs with no screens or setup. Screen printing can be cheaper per unit at very high volumes of a single simple design. For most small-batch, multi-color work, DTF is the more flexible and economical option.

How do I wash garments with DTF transfers?

Wash inside-out in cold water, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and tumble dry low or hang dry. Properly applied DTF prints withstand 50+ washes without cracking or peeling.

What is a DTF gang sheet?

A gang sheet is a single large film sheet you fill with multiple designs of any size. You pay by the sheet, not per design — the most cost-effective way to order many small designs at once.
